New drinking water regulations require annual legionella testing

New drinking water regulations have gone into effect on November 1st of 2011.

These require annual legionella testing for all hot water appliances over 400 liter

tank capacity or, alternatively, a pipe capacity of 3 liters between water heater

and distribution site. Among those affected by the new regulations are landlords,

building management, hotels, hospitals and other public facilities.
